New Mexico High School Softball - Valley bounces Del Norte

April 29, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87107

In Tuesday's league match, the host Valley Vikings softball team scored a nice 19-8 win over the Del Norte Knights.

The Vikings (11-13) will now prepare for their match against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Spartans come into the 4A District 6 match with a 13-11 record. In their last match, Bernalillo was routed by Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 14-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 6 match, on Friday, May 2. Del Norte will attempt to better on its 3-22 season record. The Huskies come into the match with a 13-10 record after their 21-6 non-league win over Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM).
