The Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) softball nipped the host Middle Township Panthers (Cape May Court House, NJ), 3-2 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Spartans now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlantic County Institute of Tech for a Cape-Atlantic - National outing on Wednesday, April 30. Holy Spirit will encounter a team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ). The record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Middle Township moves to 5-6 on the season. The Panthers host Absegami (Galloway, NJ) to encounter the Braves in a Cape-Atlantic - National outing on Thursday, May 1. The Braves come into the outing with a record of 9-2. Absegami won 20-0 in their recent league outing against Buena (Buena, NJ)
