The Holy Spirit Spartans softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Middle Township Panthers to 0 in the Spartans league win on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camden Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 5. Holy Spirit will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 10-7 non-league win over Cherry Hill East (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Middle Township moves to 2-2 on the season. The Panthers host Cape May County Tech (Cape May Court House, NJ) to confront the Hawks in a non-league battle on Monday, April 7. The Hawks come into the battle with a record of 4-3. Cape May County Tech won 17-2 in their recent non-league battle against Pennsauken Tech (Pennsauken, NJ)
