In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Tri-City Tornadoes softball team scored a nice 9-0 win over the Lincolnwood Lancers.

The Tornadoes (5-2) will now prepare for their match against North Greene (White Hall, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league match with a 3-12 record. In their last match, North Greene notched a victory over West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL), 6-5, in a league match.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Pleasant Plains Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 2. Lincolnwood will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 12-5 record after their 7-5 league win over Williamsville (Williamsville, IL).
