California High School Softball - Quincy bounces Portola

April 29, 2025: Portola, CA 96122

The Quincy Trojans softball team scored 20 runs and held the host Portola Tigers to 4 in the Trojans league win on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maxwell for a Mid-Valley battle on Friday, May 2. Quincy will confront a Panthers team coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to CORE Butte (Chico, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-15.

With the loss, Portola moves to 12-8 on the season. The Tigers host Williams (Williams, CA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a Mid-Valley battle on Friday, May 2. The Yellowjackets come into the battle with a record of 0-15. Williams lost 23-0 in their recent league battle against Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA)
