California High School Softball - Portola knocked off by Quincy

The Quincy Trojans overwhelmed the visiting Portola Tigers softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 22. Quincy will attempt to upgrade on its 22-4 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 19-6 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA).

The Tigers (16-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA). The Bears go into the non-league challenge with a 13-12 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Shasta was routed by East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA), 13-0, in a non-league challenge.
