Illinois High School Softball - Wheeling knocked off by Prospect

The Prospect Knights overwhelmed the visiting Wheeling Wildcats softball team by a final score of 15-0 in Tuesday's league match.

The Knights (17-3) will now prepare for their match against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies come into the Mid-Suburban East match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Hersey notched a victory over Wheeling (Wheeling, IL), 11-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) in a Mid-Suburban East match, on Wednesday, April 30. Wheeling will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 5-12 record after their 6-4 league loss to Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL).
