Illinois High School Softball - Prospect bounces Wheeling

May 14, 2025: Wheeling, IL 60090

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Prospect Knights softball team scored a nice 24-4 victory over the Wheeling Wildcats.

The Knights (21-7) will now prepare for their match against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Grenadiers go into the Mid-Suburban East match with a 9-11 record. In their last match, Elk Grove was routed by Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL), 7-6, in a league match.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) in a Mid-Suburban East match, on Friday, May 16. Wheeling will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Huskies go into the match with a 16-7 record after their 11-1 league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL).
