Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Storm now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Casey-Westfield for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Salt Fork will face a Warriors squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Armstrong falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 4. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 7-1. LeRoy won 6-3 in their recent league battle against Tremont (Tremont, IL)
