Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), 13-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Storm now sport a 21-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paxton-Buckley-Loda for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. Salt Fork will face a Panthers squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Clifton Central (Clifton, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-20.

With the loss, Armstrong falls to 13-12 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Watseka (Watseka, IL) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 12. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 16-7. Watseka won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Momence (Momence, IL)
