In Monday's league outing, the visiting Holcomb Hornets softball team scored a nice 22-1 win over the Clarkton Reindeer.
Coming up next, the Hornets battle the Caruthersville Tigers (Caruthersville, MO) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, April 6. Holcomb will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 0-2 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Scott County Central (Sikeston, MO).
The Reindeer (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Risco (Risco, MO). The Tigers enter the District 2 outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Risco ran past Delta (Deering, MO), 24-0, in a non-league outing.
