In Monday's non-league contest, the William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA), by a margin of 12-2.

With the triumph, William Campbell moves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Generals host Altavista (Altavista, VA) to play the Colonels in a Dogwood contest on Wednesday, April 5. The Colonels come into the contest with a record of 1-6. Altavista lost 10-7 in their recent league contest against Gretna (Gretna, VA)

In their next game, the Hilltoppers play the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) in a Seminole contest, on Tuesday, April 4. Glass will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Lancers come into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA).
