New York High School Softball - Saranac bounces Peru

The crowd at Monday's league match between the Saranac Chiefs (Saranac, NY) and the host Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY), saw Saranac's softball squad nip Peru by a count of 13-8.

The Chiefs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, April 22.

With the loss, Peru falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY) to face the Cougars in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I match on Tuesday, April 4. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 0-0.
