The Leesburg Yellow Jackets softball team scored 38 runs and limited the host Wildwood Wildcats to 21 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Leesburg improves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Yellow Jackets host Lake Buena Vista (Orlando, FL) to clash with the Vipers in a non-league game on Monday, April 15. The Vipers come into the game with a record of 3-11.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Newberry Panthers (Newberry, FL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 9. Wildwood will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 12-2 record after their 7-4 non-league win over St. Augustine (St. Augustine, FL).
