North Carolina High School Baseball - Clayton prevails Cleveland

The Clayton Comets baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Cleveland Rams to 6 in the Comets league win on Thursday.

The Comets now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Raleigh for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. Clayton will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 32-0 non-league loss to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-6.

With the defeat, Cleveland drops to 4-7 on the year. The Rams host North Johnston (Kenly, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, April 7. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 2-4. North Johnston lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC)
