The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Marengo Panthers (Dixons Mills, AL) and the visiting Johnson Eagles (Thomaston, AL), observed Marengo's softball team notch a victory over Johnson by a final score of 19-1.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Southern Choctaw (Gilbertown, AL). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 9-7 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the University Charter Trail Blazers (Livingston, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 8. Johnson will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Trail Blazers go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 15-4 non-league win over Keith (Orrville, AL).
