Virginia High School Softball - Riverheads knocked off by Stuarts Draft

April 3, 2025: Stuarts Draft, VA 24477

The Stuarts Draft Cougars overwhelmed the visiting Riverheads Gladiators softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) in a Shenandoah challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Stuarts Draft will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Storm go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 21-0 league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA).

The Gladiators (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets go into the Shenandoah challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Wilson Memorial toppled Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 12-0, in a league challenge.
