Illinois High School Volleyball - Evanston can't hold off St. Francis

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host St. Francis Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Evanston Wildkits.
The Spartans (15-14) will now prepare for their battle against Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 10-15 record. In their last battle, Naperville North was edged by Roncalli (Indianapolis, IN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildkits encounter the Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL) in a Central Suburban South battle, on Monday, May 2. Evanston will attempt to advance on its 9-13 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 17-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Elgin (Elgin, IL).
