Illinois High School Volleyball - St. Francis can't hold off Evanston

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Evanston Wildkits volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the St. Francis Spartans.
The Wildkits (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Glenbard West nudged Naperville Central (Naperville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Spartans encounter the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 11. St. Francis will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 8-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL).
