With the triumph, Amherst County moves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Lancers travel to Salem (Salem, VA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 1. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 8-8. Salem won 6-4 in their recent league game against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA)

In their next game, the Hilltoppers clash with the Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole game, on Friday, May 3. Glass will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Bees come into the game with a 8-9 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Dan River (Ringgold, VA).
