South Dakota High School Softball - Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy bounces Avon

The Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy (Freeman, SD) softball routed the visiting Avon Pirates (Avon, SD), 9-3 in Tuesday's league bout.
The (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Chester (Chester, SD). The Flyers go into the non-league bout with a 10-0 record. In their last bout, Chester held off Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD), 17-7, in a league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Castlewood for a Class B bout on Saturday, May 4. Avon will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Colman-Egan (Colman, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 8-2.
