Ohio High School Softball - Firelands bounces Black River

Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH), 10-4 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Brookside for a Lorain County 8 challenge on Monday, May 6.

With the loss, Black River falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Oberlin (Oberlin, OH) to battle the The Phoenix in a Lorain County 8 challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The The Phoenix enter the challenge with a record of 0-6.
