Maine High School Softball - Orono bounces Foxcroft Academy

The Orono Riots routed the host Foxcroft Academy Ponies softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Riots (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Coyotes go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Old Town topped Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME), 5-3, in a league battle.
The Ponies now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Maine Central Institute for a Class C North battle on Wednesday, May 1. Foxcroft Academy will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME). The Huskies record now stands at 5-0.
