Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Grove City held off by Slippery Rock

The Grove City Eagles baseball squad (Grove City, PA), 4-2 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA)

With the triumph, Slippery Rock moves its record to 10-2 on the season. The Rockets travel to Meadville (Meadville, PA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 3. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a record of 5-8. Meadville lost 5-4 in their recent league bout against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA)

The Eagles (3-10) will now prepare for their bout against Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Lancers enter the non-league bout with a 11-4 record. In their last bout, Neshannock edged Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA), 12-1, in a league bout.
