Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Grove City held off by Slippery Rock

Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA), 10-8 in a league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sharon for a District 10 Region 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 9. Slippery Rock will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 12-1 league win over Franklin (Franklin, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Grove City drops to 2-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Titusville (Titusville, PA) to clash with the Rockets in a District 10 Region 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 9. The Rockets go into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Titusville won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Hickory (Hermitage, PA)
