North Carolina High School Softball - Ashe County drops to South Caldwell

April 30, 2025: Hudson, NC 28638

The Ashe County Huskies softball squad (West Jefferson, NC), was routed 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC)

With the triumph, South Caldwell improves its record to 23-2 on the year. The Spartans host Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to face the Cougars in a non-league contest on Friday, May 2. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 24-1. Alexander Central won 17-0 in their recent non-league contest against Freedom (Morganton, NC)

The Huskies now hold a 13-10 record.
