The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH) and the host Ross Little Giants (Fremont, OH), observed Springfield's softball team notch a victory over Ross by a tally of 23-2.

The Blue Devils (14-8) will now prepare for their bout against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH). The Bobcats go into the Northern Lakes bout with a 6-11 record. In their last bout, Bowling Green gained a win over Napoleon (Napoleon, OH), 4-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Little Giants battle the Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Friday, May 2. Ross will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 25-8 league win over Southview (Sylvania, OH).
