North Carolina High School Baseball - Jack Britt loses to Lumberton

The Lumberton Pirates crushed the visiting Jack Britt Buccaneers baseball team by a tally of 10-4 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Pirates now hold a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host South View for a United Eight 3A/4A bout on Thursday, April 6. Lumberton will face a Tigers team coming off a 14-3 league win over Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 8-6.

Next, the Buccaneers face the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A bout, on Thursday, April 6. Jack Britt will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 8-7 record after their 7-6 league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC).
