Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), 15-10 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shiprock for a 4A District 1 challenge on Thursday, April 6. Bloomfield will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 15-8 league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Chieftains record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Aztec falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Miyamura (Gallup, NM) to face the Patriots in a 4A District 1 challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Miyamura lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Gallup (Gallup, NM)
