In Friday's league bout, the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) baseball squad the host Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), by a tally of 6-1.
Next up, the Colts encounter the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A bout, on Tuesday, April 8. West Stanly will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 8-9 record after their 3-2 league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC).
The Wolf Pack (4-11) will now prepare for their bout against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the Rocky River 2A/3A bout with a 5-9 record. In their last bout, Forest Hills was overwhelmed by Piedmont (Monroe, NC), 10-4, in a league bout.
