Virginia High School Softball - Abingdon bounces Union

April 4, 2025: Big Stone Gap, VA 24219

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) and the host Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA), observed Abingdon's softball team prevail over Union by a tally of 18-8.

The Falcons (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees go into the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Brookville knocked off Liberty (Bedford, VA), 17-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) in a Mountain 7 bout, on Tuesday, April 8. Union will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record.
