The Marcus Marauders triumphed over the visiting Braswell Bengals softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Marauders meet the Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Marcus will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 6-3 league win over Hebron (Carrollton, TX).
The Bengals (2-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX). The Jaguars enter the 6A Region I District 5 challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, Flower Mound overcame Lewisville (Lewisville, TX), 16-4, in a league challenge.
