New Mexico High School Softball - Cleveland sneaks past Farmington

The Cleveland Storm softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Farmington Scorpions to 2 in the Storm league win on Friday.
The Storm now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedra Vista for a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, April 8. Cleveland will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Farmington moves to 10-7 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Hawks in a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Hawks come into the battle with a record of 8-9. Volcano Vista lost 8-3 in their recent league battle against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
