South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY), 18-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, South Laurel upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Boyle County (Danville, KY) to play the Rebels in a non-league game on Monday, April 7. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 2-6.

The Generals now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lynn Camp for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 8.
