The Laney Buccaneers got by the visiting Topsail Pirates lacrosse team by a final score of 11-10 in Tuesday's league match.
With the win, Laney betters its record to 6-2 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Mideastern match on Friday, April 8. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 2-6. New Hanover lost 9-0 in their recent league match against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)
With the defeat, Topsail drops to 6-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to play the Trojans in a Mideastern match on Friday, April 8. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 1-7. West Brunswick lost 12-3 in their recent league match against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)
