Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Seminole for a 4A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, April 8. Andrews will face a Indians squad coming off a 14-12 league loss to Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX). The Indians record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Pecos falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Monahans (Monahans, TX) to face the Loboes in a 4A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, April 8. The Loboes enter the challenge with a record of 16-5. Monahans won 10-2 in their recent league challenge against Greenwood (Midland, TX)
