Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Buccaneers now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they host La Mirada for a Suburban challenge on Friday, April 8. Bellflower will battle a Matadores squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Cerritos (Cerritos, CA). The Matadores record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Firebaugh falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Mayfair (Lakewood, CA) to battle the Monsoons in a Suburban challenge on Friday, April 8. The Monsoons enter the challenge with a record of 13-7. Mayfair won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Norwalk (Norwalk, CA)
