The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) and the visiting Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN), saw La Porte's softball squad achieve victory over Chesterton by a count of 14-4.

With the loss, Chesterton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Lake Central (St. John, IN) to face the Indians in a Duneland match on Wednesday, April 6. The Indians enter the match with a record of 3-0. Lake Central won 18-0 in their recent league match against Michigan City (Michigan City, IN)
