The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) and the visiting Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC), saw Marvin Ridge's lacrosse team top Cuthbertson by a margin of 17-4.
The Mavericks (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack enter the Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Parkwood was overwhelmed by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 19-2, in a league challenge.
The Cavaliers (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates enter the Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Porter Ridge beat Sun Valley (Monroe, NC), 9-5, in a league challenge.
