The Northeast Guilford Rams crushed the visiting Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles baseball team by a count of 16-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Rams now possess a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atkins for a Mid-State 3A bout on Tuesday, April 9. Northeast Guilford will face a Camels team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Camels record now stands at 7-5.
Next, the Golden Eagles face the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) in a Mid-State 3A bout, on Tuesday, April 9. Ben L. Smith will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Bison enter the bout with a 1-11 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, NC).
