Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL), 8-5 in a league test.

With the win, Normal Community upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Ironmen host Dunlap (Dunlap, IL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, April 6. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 8-1. Dunlap won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH)

With the defeat, Champaign Central falls to 3-7 on the season. The Maroons travel to Richwoods (Peoria, IL) to battle the Knights in a Big Twelve test on Saturday, April 6. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-3.
