Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northbrook Raiders (Houston, TX), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Woods for a 6A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Stratford will face a Tigers squad coming off a 22-2 league loss to Memorial (Houston, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-23.

With the loss, Northbrook falls to 10-11 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX) to face the Bobcats in a 6A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 20-8. Cy-Fair won 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Cypress Creek (Houston, TX)
