The Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers baseball squad (Bridgeport, CT), was overwhelmed 17-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT)
With the triumph, Shelton moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Gaels travel to Sheehan (Wallingford, CT) to confront the Titans in a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque contest on Wednesday, April 9. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
The Hilltoppers now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 5. Bridgeport Central will confront a Lancers squad coming off a 11-6 non-league win over Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Lancers record now stands at 2-3.
