In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Shelton Gaels baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers.
The Gaels (11-12) will now prepare for their game against Branford (Branford, CT). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Branford was overwhelmed by Sheehan (Wallingford, CT), 5-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Hilltoppers face the Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT) in a Fairfield County game, on Wednesday, May 21. Bridgeport Central will attempt to improve on its 1-23 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 12-7 record after their 10-8 league win over Trumbull (Trumbull, CT).
