The La Cueva Bears baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Manzano Monarchs to 0 in the Bears league win on Saturday.
The Bears now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manzano for a 5A District 2 test on Saturday, April 5. La Cueva will clash with a Monarchs team coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 7-6.
With the defeat, Manzano drops to 7-7 on the year. The Monarchs host La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Bears in a 5A District 2 test on Saturday, April 5.
