The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) and the host Classical Purples (Providence, RI), saw Coventry's volleyball squad beat Classical by a tally of 3-1.

The Avengers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. East Greenwich lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI)

The Purples now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cranston East for a State Championship Division bout on Friday, April 8. Classical will play a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 3-0 league win over South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 1-0.
