Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jennings County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 9. Lake Central will face a Panthers squad coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Chesterton falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN) to face the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 9. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Decatur Central won 6-4 in their recent league challenge against Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN)
