North Carolina High School Baseball - Purnell Swett defeats Jack Britt

Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC), 12-4 in a league test.

With the win, Purnell Swett upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Rams host North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to battle the Scorpions in a non-league test on Monday, April 10. The Scorpions come into the test with a record of 8-7. North Brunswick lost 8-2 in their recent league test against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)

With the defeat, Jack Britt falls to 6-9 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Rolesville (Rolesville, NC) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, April 8. The Rams come into the test with a record of 9-5. Rolesville won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC)
