North Carolina High School Softball - Hoggard bounces West Brunswick

April 6, 2023: Shallotte, NC 28470

Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 24-4 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Freedom Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15.

With the loss, West Brunswick falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to battle the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls enter the challenge with a record of 14-1. South Stanly won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Weddington (Matthews, NC)
