La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), 20-0 in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Mesa for a 5A District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 6. La Cueva will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, West Mesa falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Bears in a 5A District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 10-4. La Cueva won 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)
